Had my passenger side window smashed on Monmouth @ 6th street last week.

Had NOTHING in the car to grab however. New window cost me $200. :(

We along with another tenant on Bay Street had our cars broken into on Sunday night. Tracking down the surveillance footage as there was a camera right on my car's window. I would wager this is all the same person.

I have seen an increase also in the Powerhouse District including a bunch of new tags on buildings.

In addition to the shards of smash-n-grab glass along Wayne Street, I also saw a lot of auto pane fragments on the south side of Christopher Columbus Drive between Grove Street and Barrow Street (along with shreds of tinted window film).

Looks like someone went on a nasty spree over the long holiday weekend.

Wayne Street?!? ... What a shocker!

So by "smash and grab" do you mean that they smash car windows and grab things left inside?

This does not need to be said -- but never leave anything in your car -- I've heard people say "it's just a bag there's nothing of value in it" -- haha!
