JERSEY CITY -- A car was damaged early Sunday morning after gunfire erupted on the south side of the city, officials said.
Shots were fired at about 3:30 a.m. on Lexington Avenue near Bergen Avenue. No one was injured in the shooting that damaged one car, city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.
