The officers saw that the 17-year-old, who was not identified as a student, had?"several bruises on his face" and officers believed he was "possibly involved in the fight,"?according to police reports.

A fight outside of a Jersey City high school Friday led to the discovery of a loaded handgun and the arrest of a 17-year-old, according to police reports.

The fight erupted outside of Snyder High School, at 239 Bergen Ave., around 12:40 p.m. on Friday, according to police reports. When the police officers assigned to the high school ran outside toward Grant Avenue, they saw a "very large crowd while canvassing" the area, according to police reports.
