A Jersey City man is accused of dealing heroin just two days after being caught for the same offense, according to police.

Conrad Mack, 53, of Communipaw Avenue, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy, distribution within 1000 feet of school property, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

On July 30, Mack was caught by police with 30 small plastic bags containing what is suspected to be heroin, according to a criminal complaint. Mack was caught with the suspected drugs within 1,000 feet of Snyder High School, police said.

Then, just two days later on Aug. 1, Mack was nabbed selling drugs with a partner, Kearney Powell, 44, of Carteret Avenue in Jersey City, according to the complaint. They were caught selling suspected drugs within 1000 feet of School 29, according to police.

Powell is charged with possession with intent to distribute, distribution within 1000 feet of school property, and conspiracy.

Mack and Powell, both out on bail, appeared before Judge Kelly Austin in Central Judicial Processing court in Jersey City yesterday.
