Cops: Jealous woman attacks another
Monday, May 23, 2011 MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER A Jersey City woman was kicked, pistol whipped and robbed by a jealous woman at a Greenville bus stop Friday night, officials said yesterday. The 20-year-old Martin Luther King Drive woman told police she was at Kennedy Boulevard and Grant Avenue at 6:13 p.m. when a car pulled up and two women got out, reports said. One of the women began kicking her in the stomach and when she crouched down, she was struck in the head with an object, reports said, adding that a witness said it was a gun. The armed woman then took the victim's purse, which contained $150 and documents, before both women got back in the car and fled, reports said. During the attack, the armed woman was yelling and accusing the victim of having had relations with her boyfriend, reports said, adding that the second woman did not participate in the assault.
