A 35-year-old Jersey City driver was shot through his car window and struck in the shoulder early Saturday, police said.
The victim, who collapsed in front of police on Wilkinson Avenue, told the cops he had been shot in the shoulder near Woodlawn Avenue and Van Cleef Street at 3:06 a.m., reports said.
A 38-year-old passenger who was with the victim told cops that a man with a handgun tapped on the driver's side window, reports said.
The 35-year-old shifted his Acura in reverse to try to escape, but the gunman fired through the car window, according to the witness. The victim was treated at the Jersey City Medical Center.
