View Larger Map Robbed by quartet in cars, he tells cops Friday, January 08, 2010 A Jersey City man told police he was attacked and robbed early yesterday by four men, and that one of the men accused him of having robbed him a short time earlier, reports said. But when police showed up at the gas station at West Side and Duncan avenues at 4:15 a.m. to interview the 31-year-old victim, he was "extremely intoxicated" and unable to look at mugshots, reports said. The victim told police four men pulled up in separate cars and accused him of having robbed one of them at 12:30 a.m., reports said. The men attacked the victim and stole his $350 coat and $450 in jewelry before getting back in their cars and driving away, reports said. The victim told police that after he was robbed, he drank heavily for about three hours before returning to the gas station and calling police. MICHAELANGELO CONTE
