View Larger Map Jersey City man stabbed after night of drinking, reports say By Charles Hack/The Jersey Journal December 20, 2009, 6:49PM A Jersey City resident was stabbed twice on his way home early this morning after a night out drinking, reports said Police were called to the Jersey City Medical Center at 12:53 a.m. to meet with a 27-year-old of Duncan Avenue man who was being treated for a couple of stab wounds, reports said. The victim said that he was walking home after having had several drinks when three men approached him near Montgomery Street and Monticello Avenue and began hitting and stabbing him, police said. The victim began running toward a fast food restaurant at Montgomery Street and Bergen Avenue when a Medical Center ambulance picked him up took him to the hospital, officials said. The man, who was not robbed, was given stitches for superficial stab wounds to his left wrist and left biceps, police said.
