Robbed, threatened by 2 near Square
Thursday, November 19, 2009 A robber punched a Jersey City man in the head, saying "Give me everything you got or you're going to die" before taking his iPod and $4 in cash early yesterday, officials said. The 25-year-old victim told police was walking at Van Winkle and Liberty avenues at 12:50 a.m. when two men approached and one punched him in the back of the head, reports said. The St. Paul's Avenue man said he handed over his iPod and cash and the pair ran west on Van Winkle, reports said. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Jersey City Police Department tip line at (201) 547-JAIL. MICHAELANGELO CONTE
