View Larger Map Stabbed and robbed by trio Saturday, October 24, 2009 By MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER A Jersey City man was stabbed in the chest Thursday night while being robbed of jewelry and cash by three men wearing masks and red bandannas, reports said. At about 10 p.m., the 26-year-old Bergen Avenue man left his sister's home to buy cigarettes at a store at Bidwell and Ocean avenues where he was approached by the trio, reports said. They stabbed him on the left side of his chest, then took his watch, silver bracelet and a silver chain as well as a wallet containing $200, reports said. A friend drove the victim to the Jersey City Medical Center where doctors said his wound was not life-threatening, reports said.
