Cops should have let them kill each other, two less idiots to worry about and feed.

Two Jersey City felons were arrested on multiple charges Saturday night after cops doing surveillance in Greenville heard them shooting at each other and arrested both as they tried to run away, officials said.

Officers at Wegman Parkway and Ocean Avenue arrested Rashawn Cinton, 29, of Bostwick Avenue, and Ramel Waiters, 33, of Wegman Parkway, and recovered two guns, police said.

Waiters was charged with weapons offenses and drug counts, including drug possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, police said, adding that Clinton was charged with weapons offenses. Both were charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.

The plainclothes officers were conducting a drug investigation at around 9 p.m. when they heard gunshots at a nearby residence and watched as the two men took off running with guns in their hands, police said.

Cops jumped in front of Waiters, who slid to the ground and tossed his gun before being arrested, police said.

Two other officers chased down Clinton and arrested him in a yard on Stegman Parkway, police said, adding his gun was recovered nearby.

Police found five vials of suspected cocaine in Waiters pockets as well as four bags of suspected marijuana, reports said.
