Ordered into car's trunk after robbery in Greenville
Saturday, August 15, 2009 By MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER Jersey City police are investigating a kidnapping and robbery in which a man was forced into the trunk of his own vehicle and held briefly Thursday night in the Greenville neighborhood, officials said. The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. and the man was held for about 15 minutes but was able to escape and contact police, officials said, adding that he was not injured. Police would not release further information, citing the ongoing investigation.
