Woman is stabbed in robbery on street

A Bayonne woman was stabbed in the face and wrists Sunday night during a robbery in Jersey City, officials said.

At 7:14 p.m., the 46-year-old resident of 19th Street in Bayonne approached police officers on the street, telling them she had been robbed at Seaview and Ocean avenues in Jersey City 30 minutes earlier, reports said.

The woman was cut on both wrists and on her left upper cheek, reports said.

The woman was taken by ambulance to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment, reports said.
