A man dressed in something similar to a sheriff uniform (but looking undone, & unkempt) knocked on our neighbor's brownstone on Fifth Street around dusk last night. He asked if so-and-so lived there (said a spanish name) and when was told no he left. But he knocked on all the other doors in the area.

The vehicle was double parked and they think there was a driver. It was a grey/blue suburban.

Maybe he was serving someone a court order or something but our neighbor said it felt very suspicious and called the police this morning. Wish they called last night, but what can you do.
