That's actually a very nice neighborhood. My wife and I were looking at apartments in the area because of the good schools and large, safe playground down the block for our daughters to spend time in with their au pair. Alas, we were priced out and had to settle in the rather dingier and slightly more dangerous Downtown area.

I have shortlisted an apartment on kennedy blvd(2271 kennedy blvd) between boyd avenue and union street.I wanted to know how safe is the area.Any information regarding the area is welcome. Thanks Ashwin
