It seems like the bad guys are taking their business out in the open and bringing down innocent people with them. I've been seeing this happeen more and more. They are shooting in broad daylight taking revenge where ever and when ever. Property owners and absentee landlords have to be carefull who they rent to. It's not good for the neighborhood.

Jersey City police are searching for three men they say opened fired on a building on Summit Avenue Thursday night.

One the bullets shattered the window of a woman who lives on the second floor, police said.

The shooting occurred in front of 1166 Summit Ave. at 9:34 last night. The woman who reported her window shattered told police that she heard multiple shots fired.
A man who was
sitting outside on Summit Avenue at the time told police three men walked up to the house and one of them pulled out a handgun from his waist and fired eight shots at the building, reports state.

No one was injured, reports said, and two bullets, one from a second floor hallway and one from a first floor apartment were recovered.

The three men were only described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts with their faces covered. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call (201) 547-JAIL.

Sounds like the drive-by shooting the three Hoboken guys did in the Heights a couple of weeks ago when the 72 year old grandmother got shot.
