2 arrested in attempted theft of catalytic converter from parked car By Michaelangelo Conte/The Jersey Journal on January 23, 2013 at 2:40 PM Two Jersey City men were arrested after police spotted one of them allegedly cutting a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle this morning, officials said. Josue Diaz, 25, of West Side Avenue, and Erick Rodriguez, 25, of Corbin Avenue, were arrested on Kennedy Boulevard near Bentley Avenue at 1:16 a.m., a police report says. Diaz was charged with burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools, the report says, adding that Rodriguez was charged with conspiracy.
