A 46-year-old Jersey City woman told cops she was punched in her face after she told a car burglar to hand over her laptop computer, according to police reports. The woman said she had just picked up her daughter from pre-school and was returning to her minivan at Cator and Ocean avenues at 2:41 p.m. Monday when she noticed a man smoking a cigarette near the vehicle and saw that her Hp Laptop was missing from the back seat, reports said. The woman, who had left the vehicle doors unlocked, noticed the man, who appeared to be about 50-year-old, attempting to conceal an object underneath his black jacket, police reports said. The woman said she marched over to the man and demanded the return of her computer, at which point the suspect wheeled around and punched the victim in the face with a closed fist, causing her to fall to the ground, reports said.
