View Larger Map Police haven't interviewed Jersey City man shot four times early Sunday Tuesday, November 08, 2011, 3:00 AM By Charles Hack/The Jersey Journal A 29-year-old Jersey City man is in a stable condition after being shot four times early Sunday morning, with one of the bullets lodging in his neck, police said yesterday. Police found the Old Bergen Road resident lying on the steps of a house on Clendenny Avenue near Kennedy Boulevard bleeding from his forehead after they responded to a report of the shooting at around 1:44 a.m., reports said. The victim was taken to Jersey City Medical Center trauma unit, where he was found to have a bullet entry and exit wound near his left eyebrow, one entry wound in his right wrist, and two other entry wounds in the back, reports said. A CAT scan taken at the hospital showed that one bullet had lodged in his right arm, a second in his chest, and the third in his neck. The victim?s condition was listed in critical but stable condition yesterday but has since been upgraded to stable, Lt. Edgar Martinez said. Police were unable to interview the victim yesterday but are continuing to investigate the shooting, he said.
