Two Lodi men were stabbed early yesterday at a parking lot along Route 440 in Jersey City, police said.
The victims, ages 18 and 22, told police that they were with friends at the Party City parking lot at the Hudson Mall at 2:45 a.m. when a group of about 15 to 20 males drove up, got out of their vehicles, and began fighting with them, reports said.
The 22-year-old victim was fighting with one of the men when someone stabbed him in the right side of his chest, his upper right arm, and his lower left thigh, reports said.
The 18-year-old told police he got out of a car to help his friend and was immediately stabbed from behind in his lower back, reports said.
Police interviewed the victims at the emergency room of Christ Hospital, reports said.
