That's just what we need out here, more narco units 2 catch this scum of the city. He wouldn't of adjusted his gun in plain site of a uniformed officer.
Good job, what we have left of the police force.

Jersey City police say they see man has gun and chase him, and he drops the loaded weapon just before he's tackled

A Jersey City man was arrested Sunday evening after he walked past narcotics officers and they saw him adjust the .357 Magnum he had stuffed into his waistband, officials said.

Terrance Ford, 20, of Woodward Street, was spotted at Belmont and Crescent avenues at 7 p.m. and, after a chase, he was arrested on charges that included resisting arrest and several weapons offenses, officials said.

Ford and another man were walking on Belmont when police saw Ford "lift up his black sweatshirt and adjust what appeared to be the brown handle of a handgun," reports said.

Perimeter units converged on Ford, who took off running and dropped the gun just before being tackled at Summit Avenue and Grand Street, reports said.

Police found the serial number had been removed from the gun, which was fully loaded, reports said, adding that Ford was additionally charged with possession of a defaced firearm.
