Two 19-year-old Jersey City men were arrested in connection with an armed robbery yesterday morning near Gates Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, police said.
Around 12:30 a.m., a 17-year-old girl told police that three hooded men held her at gunpoint and robbed her of $200 in cash, 15 DVDs valued at a total of $150, and a small radio, reports said.
At 1:10 a.m., police spotted two men who fit the descriptions the victim provided and arrested them, reports said.
Khaliff Harper was charged with robbery, and Davarn Sims was charged with receiving stolen property. Harper had two outstanding warrants out of Hudson County while Sims had one.
At the time, Sims had in his possession two DVDs belonging to the victim, reports said.
