View Larger Map Thief drags her down 2 flights Thursday, July 08, 2010 A 66-year-old Jersey City woman was dragged down two flights of steps by a robber who made off with a bag of dog food, one shirt and the faceplate to a car radio, according to a police report. The woman was about to enter her Lexington Avenue apartment when a man ran up behind her and grabbed the straps of her purse and a red bag she was carrying, according to the report. The woman fell and the man dragged her down the stairs and out of the building, where he was able to free the red bag from her arm (but not the purse). The man then fled, according to the police report. The bag, which contained a lavender shirt, dog food and the faceplate to a car radio, was found abandoned down the street with the shirt still inside, according to the report. The woman was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where she was treated for pain to her head, left shoulder, left elbow and both knees, according to the report.
