Eagle-eyed Jersey City cops arrested an armed fugitive Friday night after spotting him driving through Jersey City in a clunker, reports said.
Frank Ingram, 65, of Fulton Avenue, was charged with unlawful possession of weapons and certain persons not to have a gun due to a prior felony conviction, police said.
Undercover cops noticed Ingram at 7:15 p.m. when he drove past in a dilapidated 1989 Nissan Pulsar at Virginia and Bergen avenues, police said.
Cops arrested Ingram, who had an open warrant out of Jersey City, and noticed he had a black handgun on the floor behind the driver's seat, police said.
Cops also issued Ingram a summons for failing to make repairs to the car.
But Ingram told them the car wasn't his and he didn't remember the name of the person it belonged to, police said.
The car was taken to the Jersey City police pound.
