Two Jersey City cops had to be checked out at the Jersey City Medical Center after being exposed to suspected PCP while arresting a Florida man on charges that included driving while intoxicated, officials said.

Johnny Rodriguez, 34, of Kissimmee, Fla., was arrested yesterday at 12:45 a.m. at Tonnelle and Carlton avenues and was charged with drug possession and DWI, reports said.

After dropping Rodriguez off at the North District Police Station the officers were taken to Christ Hospital due to their exposure to the suspected PCP, reports said.

The two officers were checked out and determined to be fine, police said last night.
