Police officers have more pressing matters to attend to than getting kids off the streets after hours (see the post on the double shooting). Its up to parents to make sure their kids aren't hanging out on street corners but that's a different discussion

There were issues today on the WTC line. There was a huge crowd on the platform at a time that's usually not so busy, and when I got into work I had about 10 emails about delays due to a signal problem.

I went to take a look at this gym recently, nice place. The training sessions are expensive but the membership fee is affordable considering all the amenities.
