Yep. Just got the chain E-mail from Fulop. Indeed Cancelled.
The shootings probably had something to do with.

Who is Robert Knapp to be slinging mud? He currently holds 3 government jobs for a total salary of $108,463. 1) Hudson County-$88,296, 2) NJ City University-$3,750 3) East Newark Borough-$16,417 (but he lives in Jersey City). This is a step down for Mr. Knapp from a couple of years ago, when he actually had 4 government paychecks (he was spokesperson for HC Sheriff Juan Perez).

[I have always found the story of the photo interesting, but nobody I know has ever seen the photo, for all that it is endlessly discussed]
I have seen it. Just wished I kept it. It's not too bad actually..blurry, black and white can't see anything really but just a him slumped over naked with the white towel. Sad. And remember at that time he said he had a couple of drinks and he is diabetic..that's why he was in that condition. Yeah, I'm diabetic every year on my Birthday.

Umm..we didn't until you changed your story. Was he drunk during that interview? I mean, I am no fan, but what were you thinking..but really. The Mayor wishes 3 Hispanic girls groped him.

Is anyone alarmed by The actions of the Clerk to Board of Elections? There is a very important highly bitter Mayoral Election coming up..this guy was overseeing 2 school board elections wasted.

So basically the Mayor says I have no say in this City because I have lived here the same amount of time as Fulop? I am an interloper? Because I don't hang out at the Astor Bar? I vote mayor and every election. I'm an interloper cause I refuse to lick HCDO envelopes on Fleet Street.

I'm curious as to when that was. It's interesting because Dan has been a strong supporter of public schools. He actually chose to remove his kids from LCCS and put them into P.S. 37 (mostly due to geographic reasons, as I understand it).

Mr. Otis, I have lived in Ward E for 15 years, just because I have never heard of you
doesn't mean I am not involved. I guess you count spaying and neutering of stray animals as activism. I too know Dan levin and he knows me. I voted for him last time, I will not be voting for him as long as he aligns himself with this Mayor. I think Dan levin has drank the kool-aid.

I have never seen this person at any meetings, nor the point and time count, for this person to say that the City and the County is doing nothing is wrong. As I said, come to the Continuum of Care meeting on October 17th and raise your concerns. But, hey I know it's easy to complain in the cheap seats.

"He is saying that it is not right for a public employee to run for office," Connors said. "I think his philosophy is un-American."

Connors said that he received the $632,575 salary from his staff, who had researched Fulop's earnings. "It must be nice to leave a job and still continue paying your mortgage," Connors said.

Sure public employees trying to make difference. Not trying to pad a pension. I.E. GREED.

"It must be nice to be offered the HCDO line for an position because you causing trouble in the Heights." Oh and their support.

Does anyone know where to find a map of the new wards? I've only been able to find descriptions of the new boundaries and am unsure which ward I'm now in, as I live on Jersey, south of Columbus.

Every description I've seen says everything west of jersey (south of Columbus) is now Ward F, but what about those who live on Jersey?

Thanks!

Hey there, I purchased the new Ward E map for a dollar at the Board of Elections in Hudson County Plaza. And it looks like on the map, that those that live on the Van Vorst Park Side of Jersey Avenue, south of Columbus are E4. Those that live on Jersey Avenue ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PARK, South of Columbus are now in Ward F.

Thanks everyone with the information. I spoke to the Board of Elections and the polling place information on my sample ballot is a mistake. I was the first to bring this to their attention. No telling how may other people will mistakenly show up at 16th Street. And according to the new boundaries of Ward E, I still get to vote in my same place.
Peace everyone.

Do you live at the end of Bright street or are you just saying that's where you used to vote? If you live on Bright west of Jersey Ave., you are now in Ward F - but you would still vote at PS 3 (111 Bright st.)

Nope t bird I am still in Ward E, I went from E6 to E20. What I do not understand is why I have to go from Grove/Bright/Grand area to 16th Street to vote. (20 blocks). And why do the residences at 396 Manila still get to vote at the church? I will have to see a new map.

Ok. So I put in the address of the PACO building 396 Manila on this nifty site. Those residents still get to vote at Grace church. Why do voters on bright/grove/grand street have to go to 16th street? Is it because The district formerly known as E6 voted overwhelming for a certain city councilmen's committee people whom won over the current administration?

Hope not. I am calling the Board of Elections tomorrow to find out if this sample ballot is some sort of a mistake and to find out how to get a Ward E map with the new boundaries. It makes no sense for me to walk over 20 blocks passing 9 sanctioned voting stations to vote. I hate to have to get A zip car just to vote in a school board election(lol). And if anyone knows where I can find a Ward E map with the new boundaries, let me know.

I know the City Clerk made changes to the Ward E map. However my new polling place is the Holland Garden Housing projects across from the entrance to the Holland Tunnel, a 25-30 minute walk away. I used to vote on Bright and Monmouth. A 10 minute walk. This new polling place is a pretty long walk (I do not own a car)across treacherous tunnel traffic. What about the elderly, disabled, lazy or just plan scared of that area folks that want to vote. Is not this distance and highway barriers an incentive to disenfranchise voters? Is this legal?
