Looks like comments on their blog posts have to be approved by a moderator now. It must be tough living in a bubble.

"a guide to jersey city coffee shops"

I am tired of people that recently move into the newly gentrified downtown JC and then make "Jersey City guides" that only include places that are downtown.

Example: https://www.hazelbaby.com/blogs/blog/mama-needs-coffee/

Last I checked there are a few more neighborhoods in JC other than the ones near the train stations at Grove Street and Exchange Place.

I dunno about all of you, but I blame all these new developments going up. All these out of town murderers are moving into our city.

I would like to see a bus shelter on Franklin & Palisades in the heights.

and I agree 100%, put a time table and bus map in the shelter...why these are not already there baffles me.

thank you r_pinkowtiz, i have not read through it yet but the site looks like it provides an ample amount of information.

as for http://www.talkingpolitics.net/, that site looks like it was created in the 90's. if anybody knows the webmaster they should definitely look into updating that site.

and if anybody was interested, for federal elections i always check on these sites:

http://votesmart.org/index.htm
http://factcheck.org/

I am looking for a place to read up on local politicians & issues affecting jersey city\hudson county.

Reading through a ton of forum posts is not really the most effective way, does anybody know of a site that is strictly about local politics?
