Thanks for the replies and emails. We drove to JC and Hoboken to check it out and what 2 yrs do such booming towns. We changed our route to see if anyone is or would consider renting in the 3 condo building: Trump building, Crystal Pointe or the A condos all in JC. Again we would like a longer lease 2ys or more with one car parking, also we just lost our little dog ?? And we would possibly get another small dog under 15lbs. Thanks friends we hope to be part of the JC Community once again- Lets fight for Peace!!!

We own a home in Fairfield County, with plans to sell it in the near future. If any private owners that what 2 meticulous guys and total neat freaks to rent their property, please consider us. Our home is fully renovated 1931 with updated modern with conviences, and yet with old architecture details. So you get the just of how we live. We're both non smokers, partiers and are pretty much home bodies. We see all the new buildings have gone up but they're just so blah and no charm. Ideally we don't want to spend no more the 5k monthly plus we wld have to find a nearby garage for the only one car we would bring. We're the best tenants and we always enhanced where we call home. We'd like maybe a single family brownstone preferably (hard find). We are looking for long term at least 2 years. Sorry for being long winded but at least you sort of understand our needs. Thanks for the read and Happy Spring ;)

Thanks for that info - One week and we see that stuff is "flying of the lists to pending" Any ideas of a good realtor that knows in/outs of JCITY? That is a good fit? Thanks again JCLIST friends.

Areas Van Vorst & Paulus Hook would consider some buildings in Liberty Harbor. 2 bdrms at least 1.5 baths newer or newly renovated. We have one car so parking would be a bonus. Our budget is 650k. We drove by some properties and just the areas are not somewhere we don't want to live. Let's have chill replies and giving leads. Starting a rant and comments that have no revelance, is bad energy. Thank You friends!

Some dog owners are so trashy. We go up and beyond picking up shit. I've even picked up others! Come on dog owners keep our grounds clean and do you job as being a pet owner.

Newport is safe and on the Hudson and has many choices. We live here and there are 24/7 Security walking the grounds with security cameras, its a safe area that doesn't even require it. Here is the website for more info: http://www.newportnj.com/
Good Luck.

Our lease will be up in the summer and we are going to start the beginning process of looking to buy. I am on Zillow, Trulia and a few others. Ideally, we would like a duplex in a renovated brownstone with outdoor space. We pretty much lived in new or renovated places, so you get the gist. Maybe you are an owner and plan to sell we are also open to rent with option. Our criteria is ball park - 2 bdrms, at least 1.5 baths, Hrdwd floors, W/D in unit not under 1200 sq feet. We have a car but that is something we will deal with finding parking. I've seen a few renovated places but they are way out of our price range. Send me some leads, or info I've pretty much am familiar of whats out there. So pretty much if you know of a place thats not on the radar let me know. Thanks Jclist forum friends.

Maybe make another tab "promote you're creativity". For me it's a hobby and calms me at the same time it's fun! Thoughts?

Enough with the Beacon! Don't they always say the "Projects" are going away? Guess what? They're not! They need projects in an inner city of course they have to make the finishes appealing what else is there. The true test of an area you plan to reside is drive by at night, I say drive because it makes for a faster get away. Do you're googling before you land anywhere and know whats around you whether its coming or going. Laguna in Newport is my safe haven.

Okay folks I read all the comments and I posted a reply earlier. The Beacon is a no totally not safe drive by at night and really see what goes on. Hamilton Park area is just a bit fart to walk to the crowded Grove Street path. Journal Square is far and safe problems. The heights is not convenient at all path to light rail, hiking up the hill. The waterfront lower end Hudson, Trump etc. its a hike to the path station or again the light rail to the path. Just come to Laguana Newport brand & shiny and upgraded across from the Newport Green park and a nice 10 minute walk to decompress on the Promenade to the Hoboken path (not as crowded). The roof deck overlooks the Hudson really a great place. I don't work for the company we just live here and are so happy after selling our home in CT and moving to Laguana. Check it out at least you will be pleasantly surprised. Happy New Year friends.

I would imagine the further away from the Path its probably gets seedy. Newport is full of all kinds of people its a friendly place to be and safe. If it makes you feel better there is security cameras everywhere with 24/7 Security walking the ground. Good Luck.

We just moved to the Laguana Building in Newport. Its a 10 min walk to Hoboken along the promenade. Its a great new building quality built and we are fortunate to have the end unit facing the Hudson with a balcony. Give the leasing office a call and ask what/if any is left. Good Luck!
