Please come join us for what is often called the birthday of the world. We will be starting Torah readings from the beginnings of Genesis so that's the start of the formation of the world.

Meet our new Rabbi Leana Morrit and join with us for an interesting service to start off the year. This is your chance to hear the blowing of the shofar. An ancient and wonderful instrument.

We have plenty of space and also endeavor to be of service to the Jewish community. So we're able to offer free services to anyone who wants to attend.

Come see our lovely sanctuary, hear the rabbi and the cantor and the blowing of the shofar.

I just want to say that I have known plenty of synagogues who turn away people who cannot pay for tickets.

Beth El has a voluntary dues structure and also gets money from various fund raising activities and generous donors. However it has not been enough to keep up with the costs of the aging building.

We have large sanctuary and do not want to turn away anyone who wants to worship with us. If you can make a donation that's fine, and if you cannot afford to that's fine too. We would just like you to come and join us for the holiday.

Loved the clip from Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David should have come to Beth El, he wouldn't have had to worry about tickets. But we may not have a high enough star quotient for him.

I third for Hobby's. I think their pastrami is better than their corned beef. The place has been there forever and has good matzoh ball soup.
