Glad to learn about Jola; I visited yesterday, and got the first kielbasa I've enjoyed in a few years, since Stanley's closed.

They also have roasted buckwheat groats, another rare treat.

Yup, I live in the heights a half hour walk from the PATH.

The PATH is the 24x7 link to NYC barring system outages, but from I don't know how early in the morning until after midnight, Community Lines jitney busses run Kennedy Blvd from Journal Square to the Port Authority bus terminal, and they're quite frequent during rush hours.

I just tried it for my first time, and really enjoyed it. Great service, and delicious, and reasonably priced. I had a very large meal of vegetable biryani for about $10. They've got address, phone, hours, and menu at www.chefofindia.net.

Maintaining and/or repairing sidewalks is the responsibility of the homeowner. I am one, and have gotten a citation stating I had to repair mine. Maintaining the sidewalks so that someone using a walker won't be taken out is right alongside shoveling snow, homeowner responsibility.

A good event, a chance to see some of the candidates reacting on the spur of the moment. Helped make up my mind.

Hours aren't posted, but I asked, and they said 8am until 9 pm. I'd assume that's just today.

I just went there and got lunch.

I got a big meal, with Biliash (an entr?e sized Empanada), a bowl of Chenahy (beef, white beans, and potato stew) and Salad Olivje (a rich potato salad with sausage in it).

This set me back $10, and it was easily some of the most delicious food in my recent past.
