maybe people should stop renting out places to young reckless teens for private parties in the d/t area. what kind of citizen would throw a party and then fight, stab, kill, and steal. .you cant even walk past some places at night without being bothered by these young men......so confused.... who could be doing this?????? what kind of parent raises this type of person??? oh my for the life of me I cant figure it out................. unreal...........surely it cant be our upstanding citizens.....let all just keep pretending that we don't know anything.... what the hell it worked for healy for 8 years

Your Tax Dollars Not So Hard At Work

everyone who follows the jersey city police department know that there is a serious shortage of supervisors. team healy and his police chief are aware of the problem but will not do anything about it. promotions are not baced on need they are based on who they want to get to. a few years ago they went deep to get to a few political whores. this year the overtime is out of control. the real laugh is canditates for sergeants are willing to work without a raise for a year. guess it does not personally benifit the administration. like i said they are waiting for a new list hoping that a few of their irish drinking buddies come out high enough this time. who knows the mayors driver might be on the next list......or someone who makes a mean mixed drink...the worst part of it is that men who are not properly supervised are doing what ever they want to. talk about wiggle room..

I took at look at the photo and didnt see a cross walk. If this pedestrian had crossed the street in the proper fashion this never would have happened. Hope the police issued the summons if this person was j-walking...I see this type of thing all the time..we have all been victim to it here in JC..people darting into the street..im not surprised...always the drivers fault never the person acting improperly.

Sounds to me like we could use more police in the DT area..everyone who attends community meetings knows that the police budget is under funded. They havent hired new cops in years. They also seems to have a shortage of "superior officers" to ensure that the policemen that we do have are doing their job. Wonder where all the tax dollars are going...Im not ragging on the police I just wish they had more funding so they could get the job done...
