That include the signs 'leaning' on a fence directly outside the MacNair polling station on 7th and Coles?

Take a picture of it, then remove and destroy it.

Vigilance will win this. Keep at it, troops!

Call HQ Fulop HQ immediately if anything like this happens - even if you aren't sure! There is a battery of lawyers on standby there to go to the polling sites and investigate/escalate immediately. And you can also call the BOE at 201-369-7745. Ask to speak to a supervisor.

Also, if you see any Healy lit or signs less than 100 feet from the polls - TAKE THEM DOWN. They are illegally placed.

Stay diligent folks - it ain't over.

If you want to see some for yourself they are on all of the poles going down Monmouth at Grand. In Spanish with a picture of Healy and Obama.

I'm up in Ward B all day. Ward E people - would you please take them down wherever you can?

Thanks!

Looks like the Healy squad had a busy night.

Driving along Ocean and other areas near every polling place there are tons of Healy signs on poles.

They are on the all of the poles leading up to the polling places. There are also Healy ?workers? in yellow shirts with hand held wooden sticks with Healy signs on them.

Odd I thought Healy wanted a low turnout to win. If you were driving along and saw and large Healy signs on the telephone poles I think it would remind you that today was election day.

If I see a sign on a pole near my polling place on election day I usually take a picture of it and them rip it down.

I just had Healy's wife on my block looking for support for the mayor. She spitted the typical BS about being a republican, even stated that Fulop wants to merge the Hoboken and JC police department. LOL! When did Fulop ever say that? Did I miss something? She continued on about how he was against Goya moving to JC. I simply replied with " but they got a tax break for millions of dollars and only created 9 new jobs."

She stood there with a dumbfounded look on her face, Mario Gonzalez had to step in to speak for her. There was something about her that wasn't right. She was swaying left to right while standing on my step. Don't think it was today's wind that was the cause of it though.

She's a known drunk - that's probably what it was. Great job on your part.

Healy team has been using this same altered anti-semitic photo of Fulop the whole campaign. Its outrageous and sick.

Woman shot outside Gerry Meyers fundraiser (Ward B candidate) yesterday
Home away from home
Home away from home

A woman who was outside the bar on Mallory & Clarke, where Gerry Meyers was holding a fundraiser for his Ward B council campaign, was hit by 3 stray bullets yesterday. We don't yet know her condition and hope she will be ok. The shooting was totally unrelated to any campaign activities, but rather crime/possible gang activity. She had stepped out of the bar to have a cigarette.

I'm not sure why this is not yet on nj.com. Has anyone seen any news on this yet? Hopefully, she will recover and the shooter(s) was caught.

Be careful out there, everyone. Just another painful reminder that we are not living in an area where violent crime has gone down.

Service record has nothing to do with sexual preference. You mock all vets with your comments. Pretty "un-American" of you. Am I speaking your language now, a-hole?

You are not entitled to know anything about a candidates sexual preference. Get over yourself.

But what did you do? Dan has a full resume. He wants to make change and he has shown his determination through his actions.

Been here since 1995 - been involved in a lot of positive community efforts. Helping the Guardian Angels patrol with neighborhood watch groups after my neighbor was robbed at knife-point in her deli, several super early Fulop efforts like the "No Double Dipping" efforts, worked in the early days of the JC Hurricane relief group at Barrow Manion, and a lot more. But I'm not running for office.

What has Dan actually succeeding in doing? The reason so many Fulop supporters are now against Dan is because he has gone against every single principle he professed to be standing up for in these past several years. Like I said, if he hadn't sold out to the Devil that is Healy - and if all you supports were just talking about Dan, and not now becoming raving pro-Healy lunatics, we might take you a little more seriously. If Healy loses, Dan is going to have a really hard time getting anyone to work with him.

I was. I listened to the speeches and rants and then observed no action in the following weeks and months. Yes, Riaz was involved in the recall but it was John Lynch and Esther Wintner who got it started.

The fact that Dan's parrots are starting to echo the Healy lies about Fulop makes me seriously doubt Dan's claim that he is willing to work with anyone. By giving tacit approval to a nasty smear campaign - and having his campaign manager show up at a rally at city hall to lead a bullhorn brigade against Fulop spreading even more lies - it seems pretty clear that it's quite personal for Dan and that his ego would never allow him to "work with everyone."

Spot on, T-Bird. Dan's sold his soul...we no longer believe in him, if we ever did. And I was hopeful in those early years.

I know this sucks and should be more efficient on the BOE's part. However, please call them today. Ask them to look up your application - they should be able to look it up and tell you exact dates on when it was received, processed and mailed out to you.

Division of Elections
(201) 369-3470 Option 6
http://www.hudsoncountyclerk.org/elections/

If you can go in person - do that. They are open on Monday from 9am-3pm (closing early). They will give you a ballot there in person.

They are also open today until 5pm. Hilda at the office is very helpful. You an get her on the phone too.

I wonder if this is Netchert & Co's latest suppression tactics. "ooops, we made a mistake..."

If you cannot get this resolved in time for election day, please make an effort to get to the polls. Take the screw up ballot with you. If they give you any flack about voting, call the BOE that day or ask a Fulop challenger if they can find someone to help you. We have legal help all day.
