Re: JC ECO Laundromat

Home away from home

Started using their wash and fold last week as well. Super happy. 75c per pound and all natural soaps and softeners. My clothes came back clean and, most importantly, smelling like nothing at all. The one thing I can't stand about most wash and folds is the terrible, cheap detergent smell left on my clothes.

Bonus points, they hang dry all button down shirts, another peeve of some wash and folds.

well, I've been going to Raffetto for decades and it's pretty easy for me to continue to do so. if this place was comparable in terms of quality and price, I'd love to switch over, but it doesn't sound like that's close to the case, at least currently. too bad.

Care to do some investigative journalism next time you pop into Raffetto? Make a list of a few items and price points and then yourself or someone here can take a look at the same products at Pasta Dal Cuore.

The stipulations seem to be much different than the initial protocol and what you were advocating for, yet you still want to take this as a victory and a lesson for the "armchair lawyers"?

"...stay in her hometown, avoid public transit and businesses, and remain at least three feet away from others when outdoors."

Oof. Last I peeked in it looked like Hard Grove had lighting fixtures in and sheetrock up. Bummer not to have one less vacant storefront on Newark in the near future. Here's hoping this doesn't get much worse.

Watch out for the new scourge of the pedestrian plaza. Bicyclists. Those two wheeled animals and their bell ringing. Wont someone think of the children?

While I know this was said in at least partial jest, it seems pretty counterproductive to allow bicycles in the pedestrian plaza. I would expect and hope that signage goes up within a week.

Ideally, some temporary bike racks can be added to the mix.

Excited for the new addition. However, I would advise against listing menu prices on your website this early in the process.
