PHU-LEEEEZE!

The entirety of his career has been in financial services with the exception of a period in 2002. After the tragic events of 9/11/01, he chose to leave his job at Goldman Sachs to enlist in the United States Marine Corps where he was among the first troops deployed to Iraq."

Forget "pet-free" zones.... what you people need is to divide the park into "normal" and "dysfunctional resident" zones.

Real Estate school?

Since when does one need to go to school to learn to lie and exaggerate?

My guess is that the self-appointed "Stroller-Mom-Militia" are the same types who install a $2,500 Gaggenau cooktop in their new "gourmet" kitchens and then freak out if someone actually tries to use it to cook something.

Rule 1 of being on a stakeout:
Do not let anyone know you are on one.

Rule 2:
Do not go on a public forum and announce the subject of the stakeout.

On another note: in other posts in this thread, it was mentioned that all the "issues" that have come up are going to be presented at the JCPD Captains meeting.

Please be aware that there is real crime out there that the PD is dealing with. Where dogs pee, kids scream and what time guys play BB are NOT even close to being on the PD's radar; nor should they be while aforementioned real crime is occurring.

You are all now free to continue your ranting....

Matsikoudis, 38, has been head of the city's law department since November, 2004 when he was named to the position by Healy, a family friend.

Yet he has been criticized for negotiating settlements such as the one with the owner of 111 First St. building in downtown Jersey City that allowed for over $76 million in fines for a developer to be forgiven.

"named to the position by Healy, a family friend."

MORE NEPOTISM! I'M SHOCKED!

"allowed for over $76 million in fines for a developer to be forgiven."

NOT LIKE THE CITY NEEDS AN EXTRA 76 MILLION.

Just came from the park after watching the practice runs for over an hour....

Biked to the SE corner of the waterfront walkway where it wraps around the terminal and was with only a couple of dozen others watching the planes zoom by just about as close as you can get without being in the water!

In fact, we were just on the other side of the rail that encloses the way expensive club seating.

Totally freaking awesome (and free!).

This works.

I've always found that once I confirm the offending Owner and where they live, usually after a half-dozen, anonymous "return to Owner packages", they usually either get the message.

Thankfully, I've only had to employ this method about 2 times over the past 15 years.

What fantasy version of Jersey City do you live in where there are trash cans? The biggest problem with litter in the city is that there are almost no trash cans.

Yours is the fantasy. This place is tons cleaner than it used to be and when there were a lot more trash cans. Believe me, it's not the quantity of trash cans that make a difference, but the people living here.

Yes, there's still way too much crap being thrown around, but the changing demographic over the past 15 years has made the biggest improvement in the amount of garbage strewn about.
