What do people expect? Our mayor made our water supply as an open trail to the people there. Anything is possible

If you click the link within that message to the original bulletin, it says you have to boil if 'hand washing dishes'. The post above, given the comma placement, says your don't.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR JERSEY CITY

Aug 14, 2020

A boil water advisory has been issued for residents of Jersey City following a positive E. coli bacteria test result taken during routine water sampling. Upon receiving the result, SUEZ immediately notified local officials and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

E. coli bacteria can cause illness and are especially a concern for people with weakened immune systems.

To view the official notice, click here.

Residents should boil their water for at least one minute for the following:
?drinking,
?cooking or baking,
?making ice cubes,
?taking medication,
?brushing teeth,
?washing food,
?mixing baby formula or food,
?mixing juices or drinks,
?feeding pets;
?washing dishes by hand; and
?all other consumption.

Water does not have to be boiled for the following activities:
?showering,
?washing dishes, using a dishwasher; and
?washing clothes.

SUEZ will provide updates when tests show no bacteria are present and there is no longer a need to boil water. For guidelines on ways to lessen the risk of infection by bacteria and other disease-causing organisms, please contact the EPA Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 1-800-426-4791.

Got a robocall from Suez. We are under a boil advisory due to E-coli bacteria being found in the water. This includes any water used to make ice cubes.
