In the link I attached, there was a "Refinance" section about 3/4 of the way down the long page and it said $2,015/month for taxes. Probably just a Zillo guestimate-

I'm thinking you're right about the abatement and actual tax bill, but I couldn't find the specific stats on that unit after a quick search-

That's just a silly calculator that shows up on every Zillow listing and it uses some WAY BELOW AVERAGE (for NJ) property tax rate. According to the text of the listing, the unit does not even pay 10K in taxes. That's .5%. That's a GREAT deal, and less than a quarter of what the place would pay if it was paying the full rate.

Looks like ~$24K/year if this is correct:

Where did you see that, I'm seeing this:
Taxes: 9961
Monthly Maintenance Fee: 837

The developers applied for and got a sweeter abatement deal after they began selling the units.

I'd still rather have my row house with 3x the square footage at half the price (but no view) but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla...

I would have thought more. But then again I would have expected a bigger kitchen in a pethouse....

that... doesn't seem all that bad, to be honest. that's about the average price of any condo in manhattan, much less the top floor with that kind of view

Patrick Villanova | The Jersey Journal

So what does a 41st floor penthouse condominium with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline cost you these days?

Just north of $2 million -- or $1,455 per square foot.

The two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom penthouse condo located at 2 Second Street on the Jersey City waterfront recently sold for a market record price per square foot, according to Liberty Realty.
