This site has become a complete garbage dumpster fire, I'm done here.
Good luck to those trying to rationalize idiots.

What you say is interesting, now prove it.
"I am sure" is bullcrap, if you are going to say things like that back it up or shut the f up.

Taxpayers spent $5 million under the Schundler administration to create a "public space," also referred to as a community center. I am sure we are still paying that bond but the building was used for JC first charter school. As usual, the public was taken, Ward F still has their community center for public events.

Do you even understand that internet screen names are not real names?

Coming on here and making up lies claiming there were riots in Jersey City is right out of the trump playbook. I'd say you should be ashamed of yourself but you are probably proud to be spewing that garbage.

Yvonne either has mental problems where she doesn't understand the words she is saying or is intentionally spreading misinformation. Simply, there was no rioting in Jersey City. I know I'm just humoring myself but is there a process for removing someone who just constantly lies and spews misinformation on this site?

I miss Maloney, too. They get a great deal of their customers from the courthouse and the courthouse is still closed due to the pandemic and now the rioting.

We're in Jersey so I'll disregard NY handling of this but if you think trump has handled this well so far you are delusional.

And exactly what "tax money" is being wasted, the city enforcing something that was illegal in the first place?

While the thread is about floods, I still remember being on Route 440 opposite Home Depot, seeing cars under water from a heavy rain. Mayor Fulop wants to build a new community, Bayfront, which is in the same location. He is putting more people in danger of floods and we, the public, will be responsible since this will be a public partnership. That does not make sense.

Can't you just leave a thread alone without interjecting your own nonsense, do you feel so neglected that you need internet attention?
Either contribute to the actual topic which OP is asking a specific question about a current storm or go away(preferably forever).

Today outside the Parking Authority office I was asked to sign a petition against "them tearing down all the statues in JC". Well there's a classic bit of deception! I pointed out they were moving just one statue a few hundred feet, and the woman walked off in a huff.

So if we are keeping track it's now fraudulent signatures and the actual petition itself.
Just curious if you saw the petition? Wondering if it said what it was for or were they planning on adding a page later with the actual agenda.

So truth is not important?

@StevenFulop: We?re working on an amazing plan w/the @OpenSpaceInst to open #JerseyCity ?s Boonton Reservoir in Morris County to the public. It?s a great JC asset that will serve conservationists, school children + surrounding community. It?ll be safer + accessible.
