Unfortunately I will not be able to attend but would defiantly want to be part of this lawsuit. I finally had my flood Ins. adjuster come by today (American Bankers Ins. Company of Florida) and was told even if you are 1 inch below grade on all 4 sides it is considered a basement and is NOT COVERED. What an F'ing BS scam. I have been paying flood Ins for my one family brick row house for 17 yrs and have NEVER had one drop of water inside. My first floor is my kitchen, dining rm 1/2 bath, washer/dryer rm and boiler/hot water heater. It is 2 steps down from street level but It is NOT A BASEMENT.

Like many others I had to rip out my entire kitchen. My Ins adjuster (thick southern accent and not from around here) told me they will get back to me in a few months. MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!

I do NOT have the money right now to redo my kitchen. We are so sick of Chinese food and Pizza. My daughter broke down crying hysterically when I told her we will not have a kitchen for Christmas.....................This sucks. (

Please post results of this meeting.

The old sewer lines can not handle all the new development. Block after block of what used to be one families, now converted to 2-3 families means hundreds more toilets, sinks, showers. The old cement pipes cannot handle the volume. Who is responsible now if you were flooded from a broken sewer line underground that has caused structural damage? Flood Ins or the JCMUA?

So Healy says he is going to return 17k he took from Dwek. He must think everyone is Deaf dumb and blind. In this video Dweck clearly says "I gave you 10k before, Ill give you another 10k now and another 10k after the election. Thats 30k just from that meeting with one developer. Enough of the BS already.

WHAT!! $4800 for a storm door ? Total BS. The local door guy
Baker Doors can make beautiful Solid Mahogany historic doors
for 5k and thats for custom hand made doors.

This guy is going to buy a door off the shelf and install it for $4800 ? I would demand delivery of the storm door with the receipt for
warranty purposes and have someone else install it for WAY less than $2400. Good luck

His voice should sound pretty good with the natural reverb............. of a Jail Cell............. Shame on him for letting his friend Leona take all the blame for the corruption in which he was fully aware of, and took part of, as the video clearly shows.

He really can\'t play stupid to this, he knows the law well because he used to be a Judge.

He shook Dweck\'s hand and accepted $30k in campaign money in trade for development favors!!!! Is that not ILLEGAL!!! ?

Yet he is still running our city.
Obviously something else is going on that we may never know.

Just out of curiosity, how many people who have seen this video believe Mayor Healy is 100% innocent of any wrong doing, and would vote for him next election. Just because he was not arrested for this does not make it OK. As you can see in the video when Dweck shakes Healy's hand, he lowers his voice and says, I gave the 10k before, Ill give another 10k now, and another 10k after the election, which Healy replies, Thank you, we will put it to good use, Its good for us and good for the city........ This is how this man has been running our city behind our backs. For those of you who support Healy, can you explain what is going on in this video that is GOOD for the people on Jersey City? Quote:

BY STICKING TO THE ORDINANCES WRITTEN INTO LAW! such as the POWER HOUSE ARTS DISTRICT, and stop giving in to big developers with big payola, and different intentions.

We are being robbed of what would be a real point of destination in the PHAD with new restaurants, shops, a black box theater, and a VIBE! Instead of bringing back the cobble stone streets and restoring the old brick HISTORIC warehouses, the city has let developers kick out all of the artist, and tear down the warehouses. Now Toll Brothers will kill what could have been a whole area (district) with a SOHO vibe.

Allow more live music entertainment. There is no GOOD place to see a live band. I mean a REAL VENUE! with a big stage, lights, and a real PA. The city will just not allow it.

There is no doubt in my mind that Vega, Healy and others were paid off well during the whole 111 1st street fiasco, and we have all been robed of what was supposed to be the Powerhouse Arts District, due to wealthy land owners and the corrupt SOB\'s in city hall.

Its amazing Vega got the MINIMUM after all his lying and manipulating of his seat. I honestly think he deserves more jail time.

On another note. Has anyone noticed that the Youtube video of Healy and Dwek in the diner has been edited. The part where Dwek shakes Healys hand and says,\" I gave you that 10k before, Ill give you 10k now, and another 10k after the election\" And Healy replies, \" Thank you, we\'ll put it to good use, Its good for us, and good for the city\" Hard to believe he has not been convicted of any wrong doing.

What to do with 13 - 14 year old kids on a rainy, snowy day

Just can't stay away

Besides hanging out at the mall there isn\'t much to do in JC.
It would be great if there was a large space with activities for kids to hang out and play ping pong, board games, arts and crafts etc.

ANYTHING besides the TV, computer, electronic games.

so far it seems the usual options are,

Liberty science center..... closed
bowling.......closed
movie at the mall.......bored with the mall
hanging at the house.......bored with the house

Any suggestions ?

That Lying SOB! Due to the fact that he was lying all along, cant the timing of his resignation be challenged ? If Healy was a honest person he would allow the seat to be voted on by the people, but he wont, he knows he's next and is going to play us to the end.

If i could i would sign this petition 30,000 times
