I asked her once who her coffee roaster was and she
wouldn't tell me-weird. Never gave her my business again.

Good morning,

Does anyone have a number for Critter Cab here in Jersey City?

The number I have 201-963-6944 is out of order.

Thanks!

Tommy....where did you get the PATH information?

I'm on the Police dept. email list that has been sent out over the last several days with updates. The last one this morning said PATH still suspended...so?

How come the ferries don't run for example as early as 6am?
They stop running at 6:30 pm right...which is dark already...so why do they not start until 7am?

How do they decide who get's power?
Like I said, 7th/Coles but not 7th/Brunswick?
Areas closer to Hudson first?
Huh?

This is frustrating. Walking around downtown
seeing a lot of lights on in businesses and homes
and then waking up in a cold dark apt. again
with no hot water.
This lack of information is pathetic.
What the hell kind of grid is this? The city should
have people at Grove Street plaza for example
to let people know what's going on.
Where's Steve Fulop? He'll be asking for our time, vote and money, but nowhere to be found? Come on Steve,
You want my time, vote and money, make yourself
visible and instead of sending me email looking for money,
as a current Councilman, get your District some info!
You know, be a politician, get out and about.
I mean power on 7th and Coles but not 7th and Brunswick?!?
No shelters downtown open... none?
Damn.

It's either temp. sensor probe or main board.
But I'm not an appliance repair person!

So, will cross fingers, hire one and see what happens!

Would have thought there would be some recommends as you guys know everything!!! But, no problem.

I live downtown on 7th and am not getting mail delivered. Empty mailbox. This is bullshit. Anybody else downtown?

I called and spoke to a Supervisor named Paul last week and he said the regular guy was on leave blah blah, and I said, please deliver my mail.....nothing.

Just filed a complaint with USPS....see what happens...

The metrocard machines are NOT taking credit or debit cards at the WTC and Grove Street stations. I noticed this first on Saturday coming back to JC from WTC. Same thing this morning at Grove and still at WTC! Not sure about elsewhere. SO, bring cash!

No signs, announcements ...anything. Now THAT is truly pathetic!

Mail delivery

I live on seventh street. For the past week, I have noticed that I have not gotten mail or very little. I usually get junk, bills, magazines etc.

I just called the post office. The woman told me the usual postal person was on vacation. I have to call back tomorrow morning.

Anybody else on seventh or downtown have this happen? Did you get your mail back?!

Re: Two Boots Pizza

Meh, it was okay.
chicken Ceasar Salad was a few thin slices
of cold flavorless chicken on a bed of romaine mixed
with equally flavorless dressing. Pizza
was tasty but $3.95 per slice?

I'll stick with Carmine's for pizza
and Delineo's for chicken Cesar any day!

Both not as hip I'm sure but tastier IMO.

Very nice!!! Good for you.
I hate the jerks all over town that do that shit...pun intended.
Near me there is a dog owner, who actually bags the crap, then simply leaves it on the sidewalk! It's just nasty bagged or just left and damn lazy.

What was his reaction when you did that? Do tell...

The bagel I had was good. I purchased half dozen more to take home. The coffee is 10x better then Wonder Bagel. And every time I have stood in a line of 20 people to get a bagel at Wonder, I alway's thought to myself that someone needs to open another bagel shop up....and someone did.

The Calico on the left in the picture below and his little sidekick have been coming around for the last week or so. My neighbor and I feed them on her stoop.

The little black one is tnr ear tipped but the calico is not.
They are both very friendly. But am curious as to if the calico was dumped or missing etc....
So, if anyone recognizes him or her, please contact me.

Looking for a primary care physician in the downtown area.
Anybody have a good recommendation?

Any thoughts on Dr. Jeffery Pappert? Saw his ad in the latest Jersey City Digest.

Thanks!
