I recently got married in Jan. in DUMBO. We had some awesome pics of the east side as well as the bridges that came out great. but if you want to stay local, I would say LSP, or go to the waterfront in Hoboken.

I understand the need to curb traffic cutting through downtown, but I live downtown and use Erie every morning to get to the Holland Tunnel. If I couldn't make that right onto 12th that would suck.

do you have any info about how they broke in, or tools they used. What kind of access to you have to your basement? is it a separate door, or storm door? You gotta just love JC scum

They have now posted no parking signs on 1st st. What gets me, is that this is all being done overnight. What about 1st st., where it currently dead ends is so busy that it can't be torn up (and then left that way for weeks) during the day?

I also have noticed a drop off in service. They only will empty 1 can and leave the others full, or you'll find half empty cans still on the curb. I may bring this up at mtg. tonight.

there are a bunch of nice places there as well. L.I.T.M. and few other nice restaurants.

i would willingly pay the early disconnect fee from comcast, to get FIOS. No amount of money is too much so that I would never have to deal with them again.

there is the place where Oasis used to be. Corner of Newark and First, next to the fried chicken place. It is small, but a nice location.
