That's my block.

I thought I heard gunshots, but I blew it off thinking it was firecrackers or something else (I usually hear stuff like this every now and then). But a short time later, I noticed a JCPD cruiser closing of Odgen at Bowers.

Just be aware that tints on the front side windows are illegal in NJ, and your car will not pass inspection with them on.

Fine is about $55 or so. Ask me how I know.....

If you are going to look at a rental on this block PM me. I don't want anyone else to go see this rathole and waste their time. Deadbeat landlords that obviously never fixed anything and pissed their old tenants off. This place is not even habitable-- and for $1550 a month the landlord is insane.

Legal conditions?? lol.....

There's no such thing in Jersey City.

You're just lucky you weren't towed.....

In Jersey City, when it comes to parking tickets, you're **GUILTY** until you can **prove** you're innocence.

You'll probably gonna have to pay the tix first, then go fight it, then fight for a refund, which can take six months.

Keep in mind that the city is short of cash, so any way then can get it......

How much do you think these Security Guards get paid?

Around $10 p/h is my guess.

Why would they interfere? Like those Security Guards in Seattle,

http://abcnews.go.com/US/seattle-teen ... ds-watch/story?id=9800478

they're probably instructed to stay on the sidelines and call the PD.

By interfering, it brings Civil Liabilities onto them, AND the Security company. So if you think security guards are there to actually do anything, you got a lot to learn.

All the Bush years did is prove that Government does, what Government wants, regardless of what the people say. And the Healy Team is following in Bush's teachings.

And the sad thing is, if there was a recall, who would fill the seats? It's a one party system in JC, makes me think our local government is a dictatorship. There is no alternative.

Thanks for bringing Bush into the discussion. It's nice to see that Republicans are alive and well in Jersey City politics.
