The other day, my kid asked me about what had happened on Montgomery Street and told me what he saw from the bus.

Then, I read about it on this thread.

I just read a story about something similar that happened in Chicago, a kid was killed.

Video and story.

I hope the JC Police are taking this seriously.

I am not so lucky that I have time off for attending this council, which I regret a lot. A friend of mine will do so tough. I will reserve my judgement on Healy but for the others, it looks like forced resignation should and will happen. Gosh, this 11% property tax increase we (nearly) all just got, we could get it back very quickly through similar cleaning at all levels !!

For those with smartphones, please remember your recording functions, if you don't do it for you, please do it for us !

I too am unable to go.

At the very least, I hope those that are able to attend will demand that there is NO PROPERTY TAX INCREASE until things are sorted out.

I can't help think that our hard earned money has been going to fund their shenanigans.

Does anyone remember the story about Carl Czaplicki?

He sidestepped procedures and went directly before the planning board to get permission for construction on his house. He later sold the home for a nice piece of change.

I don't recall the details but I'm thinking they're all in bed.

Just another example of how they did business.

But lets remember the people who died in this city due to lack of police, the gangs were running amok selling their drugs and they still are on the street corners(white-t- shirts), the kids that became part of those gangs when something could have been done sooner. There wouldn't have been members of those dying or innocents dying or people getting seriously hurt.

I still see prostitutes on Ocean Avenue, Sam Jefferson's ex brother in law is a regular out at night at 3:00 am in a Greenville neighborhood were the drug dealers hang out as well. Why is he there what is he looking for? He's been doing this for years.

Mariano is very tight with some people who are heads of some city depts. in JC

I attended the City Council meeting when they voted on the Pay to Play.

I yelled out bought & paid for. I was right.

It was decided by court ruling that people could continue doing this.

But I could care less about his home. I'm ready to go to City Hall.

I understand the City Council meetings are held during the day in the summer months, is that true?

Unfortunately for many people, they have work during the day.

Yes we should. Unfortunately, there are those that are quick to call whites racist when they question things, as shown earlier in the thread.

If you are referring to my post about that asshat groovejet, read his previous posts in other threads. Obama received more campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than any other member of Congress, except for the Democratic chairmen of the committee that oversees them.
