Went to the Newport Pool today to pick up a schedule and find out about swim lessons for my son. The front desk guy was talking loudly on a personal call so too "busy" to help me. The woman working in the membership office was reading a novel and told me I should direct my questions to the front desk guy.

I admit I regret not having gone there. The name turned me off, then the prices, then the hours, and then...gone!

We went here tonight for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. I can't stop thinking about the meatballs and cabbage!

Frankly, The Beacon reminds me of the Overlook Hotel but less picturesque and gives me The Shining spooks. I would have nightmares of creepy twin girls if I lived in that building.

What's up with the guy who writes "GOD IS SHIT" all along the path way to Liberty State Park, and also sometimes makes his way to VVP? He's very thorough, even puts graffiti on the garbage. Surely someone has seen this guy before??

There isn't a bulldog specialist at Downtown Vets. The famous bulldog vet on the East Coast is Dr. Kinnear. His practice is on Staten Island. I've never taken my bulldog to see him but have heard many many positive things.

Downtown Vets is fine for routine things like check-ups.
