The NY Times isn't remotely bias. Their news is about as straight as it gets. Remember, the NY Times was integral in getting the Iraq War started. They do have conservative columnists as well as liberal ones. The Daily News is definitely more "liberal" but these aren't polar opposites.

The fact is, there are far more television news channels that lean to the right (CNBC, Fox Business, Fox News, One America, Bloomberg, NewsMaxTV, The Blaze) than there are left leaning (MSNBC and??). CNN just kind of sucks as a news agency, but they are hardly biased. BBC News exists but also quite even. Headline News plays it straight.

The concept that there exists some form of ?liberal media bias? is based on fiction. It belies all facts that exist. You literally have five ?news? channels dedicated completely to push one political position 24 hours. Add in TrumpTV that?ll come out when his race ends?

did you type that hogwash with a straight face? I'm rolling on the floor laughing and my co-workers want to know why

Not to pile on, but the name was pretty bad also to be honest. You can name your restaurant literally anything you want, why choose something that evokes images of Port-o potties? I mean I understand that Porto is a city in Portugal, but why make it cheesy by adding a dash to make it Port-O?

Huh? It's PORTA potties, as in portable potties. I don't know of any friends that ever made the association to which you allude, but perhaps yours did. Never crossed my mind, though.

But, yeah, the place was good at times, and uneven at others. I wish I had visited them one more time before they closed. Oh, well.

These guys must really hate the name Porta Pizza! Porto was doing fine but couldn't handle the rent increase.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porto

I'm 99% sure that the owner of Porto is also the building owner so it wasn't a matter of a rent increase

The State of NJ authorizes the installation of stop signs, not JC.

Even though Hillary has horrible favorable ratings like Trump. She has several advantages going into the General.

A united Democratic party. A broad coalition of support among many groups. A healthy ground game that is already working in the states. A fundraising advantage. A seasoned and professional staff. She could put the icing on the cake by being bold and going with a progressive....she really shouldn't go with a safe VP pick. She has much more political experience an should be able to better navigate the challenges ahead.

I wonder why a large percentage of Women will not be voting for the GOP?

I wonder why a large percentage of Asians will not be voting for the GOP?

I wonder why a majority of Muslim Americans will not be voting for the GOP?

So far over 300,000 Muslim Americans have newly registered to vote.......African American participation is not expected to drop this election....some analysts believe it might be even higher than elections that got Obama elected. Hispanic Americans are also pushing their communities to register an vote........

Trumps chances of winning....are small.

The issue is not whether Clinton lied to the FBI; it is whether she lied to the American public via statements to the media.

Maybe this will become an annual event, just like the "BUS ONLY LEFT TURN" sign at Columbus and Marin is only enforced during the holiday season. The city could make a killing by making it a point to enforce that sign once per week.

I bike through that intersection everyday and it pisses me off to no small degree that 90% of the time the officers assigned to that duty are sitting at the corner sipping starbucks and not blocking cars from making that turn. Last Friday afternoon NONE of the officers were on duty and the intersection was a complete fluster cluck with cars blocking the box.
