the place has been here forever. typical diner food.
the food isn't very fresh in my personal experience. found some mold on the hamburger buns... just stick to the basics and you should be ok

speaking of the old colony center, are there any plans to revamp or demolish that place anytime soon. it is such an eyesore

i have. the pizza tastes good but it is so thin it's like a piece of paper. you can litterally roll a slice up and eat it in two bites plus they want $2.50 for a slice which is pretty high considering rustique gives you one slice for $3 that is equivalent to two of theirs

does anyone know why this happens in this area. sorry for my ignorance but i am just wondering aren't sewage pipes separate from drainage pipes. is the smell from an overflow of drainage water or are the sewer pipes leaking? does the smell eventually go away when the water recedes. any info would be appreciated. thanks

i suppose these were intended to slow the traffic? it seems like a waste to me, these strips are not large enough to get people to slow down to drive over them. i saw cars speeding right over them as if they were not even there...

96 honda accord

i was the victim of a car break in early in the summer. however, the scumbag was nice enough to not smash the window but rather pop the window out far enough to open the lock. luckily i didn't have to get anything repaired. i had nothing sitting out but he went through the glove compartment and the center console and stole some change. now i leave everything open (except the doors) so they can see i have nothing valuable. i leave the change compartment, ashtray, glove box and center console wide open and completely empty, and so far, no problems.

I've had mixed experiences. Before I owned my own place, I wrote several reviews on kannekt. I recall being confused why one so-so review wasn't published, another so-so review was published, and all the good reviews were published. As for Melt, I never read any bad reviews on kannekt -- either there were none or they just weren't published. But I was never contacted by the list owner except possibly for factual info and I had no relationship with him.

i actually posted a good review of melt at kannekt and it was there the next day. everything else i have tried to review was never published.

be careful with the parking validation. you must show it to the cashier during the transaction, and it must be over $10 purchase. i made the mistake of showing after the transaction and they couldn't validate it so i had to eat the $5. the manager wasn't very sympathetic to my plight either even though i spent $40 on what didn't seem like a lot of stuff....

question for anyone that may know...
on the zone permit parking application available for download at this link parking

it states that non residents can get a permit for $300. i have a friend that works in harborside financial center plaza 4A. he parks out on the main street for $125 per month currently but was asking if he would be eligible to obtain this non res permit for $300 since he is a non resident but does work in JC. does anyone know if he would be eligible and if so what zone he would be parking in. thanks in advance.

there are other people living in the condos, i think there are 3 or 4 others but the inpection report was pretty bleak and it looks as if whoever renovated it did so without permits so it looks like a whole other headache. i think i'm going to bail out......
