We had a few of the $1 Yuenglings at the Tilted Kilt yesterday, they are 14 oz. Of course, the air conditioning was broken so we didn't stay long.

I went the Manhattan route, both ways, no traffic at 2AM either way-just some detours on the Van Wyck and around JFK itself. Roundtrip came to 48 miles, and it was about 35 minutes each way.

I think we'll go through Manhattan on the way there, then come back via the bridges-only paying the Holland Tunnel toll that way. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Usually I'd take the Verazzano from my home in the burbs, but I need to pick up my g/f near the LSP Light Rail-what's the best route? We'll be going before daybreak, so traffic shouldn't be a problem. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, we were in the southern part of the Park yesterday and it's still mostly blocked off hence my question-last week they said it would be until the end of the year before the Walkway was fully repaired, hence my question. I'm still trying to find out when the Port Liberte section will be re-opened though.

Just remember that the idea was to align the monument visually to the empty footprint of the WTC towers. And until I started spending time in JC a few years ago I'd never heard of the historic RR terminal, even though I'm a lifelong NJ resident.

The op said they were on a limited budget-Liberty SC, Liberty House, Michael Anthony's aren't going to work, especially after they mentioned 'a decent tavern' as working for them.

The word must be out, we took a bike ride today back and forth over the bridge today and saw plenty of bikers, runners, and walkers using the bridge-even with the chilly, windy, sprinkling conditions.

A Corrado's market has opened nearby in North Arlington, just steps above RT7-they have rhubarb this week (and cardoons, which you hardly ever see anywhere).

We had an asparagus and mushroom samosa, the dumplings, and a slice of carrot cake. All were quite good, the first two were cooked to order. Very casual.
