He did very well, short time in prison will develop and expand his skills, so when he returns to us he will know how to master his trade of identity theft and bank fraud.
His capture is just a learning-curve.

All JC politicians and emergency services chief and department directors should have a polygraph test done every 6 months to see how much crap we can uncover.

That is soooooo funny. If I was at Reliable, I'd pay some guys overtime to do the 'burn offs' after 4pm. I'd get my smelly work out of the way and its cheaper then a fine.
What a screwy system DEP have in place that is without an emergency number after hours. The fines they could issue, would cover any overtime or expenses - do it often enough and you could buy a new truck and gadgets to track the source of other smelly stuff. They must have the same system or business plan of generating income and issueing fines as the JCPA.

Another job for the boys and if you're not a drinking or eating buddy of Healy, you will never get a high paying public service position in Jersey City.
You would even have a hard time being a consultant for the JCPA, Australian. And a tip for tradesmans out there, you'll have to wait a long time for your cheque, if you win a government contract or complete any service for them. I stay right away from them, unless you do government work through a subcontractor that pays my bills directly.

Does this 'Sonia' work in the area or visit someone on a regular basis in this area of dispute?
Seems like a stupid dispute and the only gain for her is parking. Even our politicians don't fight an issue for this long or use the race card.

I agree with you MrR, nothing worse then humiliating a needy but proud family or person for some publicity pics.
There would have to be alternate PR ways, then to demoralize someone's self-esteem by letting the world know this family is poor and wouldn't survive without the Healy Foundation. It a cheap and nasty way of doing charity work, but fits in perfectly with the JC culture of doing business.

A casino would be perfect for that location - goes well with the crime and corruption theme everyone talks about.

What about a farewell resignation dinner for Healy.
Now that will definitely go towards benefiting Jersey City!

With all the building works in the area - residential and business why can't council with all the tax relief / abatements on offer, request all new developers to contribute to dog runs, road repairs or donations to community projects.
If I got a tax break of a few million, I'd be happy to offer and contribute to a 'one off' $100,000 community development project. It would also be tax deductable! Why don't the clowns at City Hall take advantage of this situation - even if the city is near bankrupt, stuff can still get done.

Re: Holiday question: What do you tip your super?

A good tip is to tell them to get things done around the place and not wait till things fall apart.
Other ideas for a tip is a new paint brush, working gloves, training on how to use a vacuum, a reminder sheet when the trash goes out and the removal of the t.v from their office and finally speaking lessons and how and when to say good morning or the like. Even buying them a book on how to be a competent super or concierge person.
