I rarely drive and was stuck in that mess trying to get home from the auto shop.
It was poor planning to shut down Monmouth and Grand and cross sections during the same day as the JC Eats. They should have just paved that during a weekday, not on a day that there will be a ton of cars. If you were stuck west of Monmouth and tried to get downtown, it was ridiculous. I've never witnessed about 20 cars driving on the rear side of the building of the old Pathmark just trying to figure out how the hell to get home before.

TSA-precheck is often just a long sometimes longer then Premier line as there is usually only 1 or 2 screeners.

Thanks to Fulop, no chains allowed downtown unless it's in a very large building with lots of retail space.

The women that used to drive the car on my block knew my neighbor. She would sit outside the brownstone every single day and hit the horn and wait a good minute or two for my neighbor to come out and move the car.
So I guess the key is to just know the person giving out the tickets then your set.

What's there really to complain about? The signs clearly say no parking for the entire 2 hour period.
If the sweeper is not consistent every day due to road construction, I don't think there is a valid complaint as long as the sweeping occurs at some point during the 2 hours.

This is such an insane argument by a clearly senile Yvonne. We are supposed to be catering to blind confused voters by having a separate election? Really? I'm pretty sure if someone doesn't have the ability to read the ballot, I don't want them voting.

PATH to L -- you walk up stairs from PATH out to the street, go to the right, and right down the L train stairs on the same corner.
Dey St extension has been completed for at least a year, but I don't believe it's ready to be open until after WTC PATH station is open which keeps getting delayed.

I would assume a measure to alleviate the clussterfk of everything else. Honestly think it's better that way then before with the delayed light where nobody knows whats going on.

All I'm saying is instead of completely disregarding the forecasts and warnings that some are trying to give, based on past recent experiences, it may be very worthwhile to have a disaster plan in the case it does happen for the 3rd time in very recent history.
I know my block was a 6 foot raging river and had no power for 2 weeks - so instead of saying it likely isn't going to happen, things like getting gas and being prepared to move anything important to higher floors, and moving your car to higher ground if you are in a low laying area like southern part of Grove Street and nearby side roads like York -- all are things to at least plan to have in place so the place isn't a nut house on Saturday. People are joking a little much over this one. Perhaps they haven't experienced or remember that we had 2 significant storms that in the past 5 years that have ravaged parts of Jersey City including my place on York that had to have the downstairs apartment completely destroyed twice.
You never know and better to have a disaster plan in place just in case it happens again.

Would have been great to be on same program of Hoboken so we don't have to transfer PATH trains to get over there. Also be able to use the path along the Hudson.
That said, it's Hoboken that are the foolish one's that are going with their own system. Jersey City made the right move to link up with the real city.

No violation yet until the bikes are actually in the racks. How about you wait until there is an actual violation before whining and crying over something that likely has no effect on you or likely no one you even know.

Well, it's getting some free publicity with the crazy price, and maybe someone sees it, likes it, offers less, and gets it.
The more you guys and others talk about it and draw attention to - the more the realtor has accomplished their goal.

Thats really a short term fix, and likely will last the summer. However, if you have it serviced professionally, they will evacuate the system and try to find leaks or the cause of the problem which is likely the real issue.

I bring mine to Joe's for any routine work for the past past 12 years - they are good.
However, only time I'll bring it elsewhere if it is major work like engine work.
