Quote:
It should have read, Two criminals killed a known drug dealer. It is believed that the criminals aim was to mug the dealer for his money and marijuana.

Who said there was no social impact on the use or sale of marijuana might want to talk to the dead guys family or the people who might have witnessed it and others that had to remove the body and cleaned the blood off the sidewalk?

It's not the use or sale that causes the impact, it's the prohibition of the use or sale.

That's a pretty blatant attempt at insurance fraud. I hope he had a good alibi for where he was during that window of time.

It seems like the baseball field on 6'th St., the Roberto Clemente one is always empty. The big park in the hood by the driving ranges always has a few open fields too. If he actually did turn down 500 kids, that is a problem - I just don't understand all of the empty fields.

I can understand the concern to be honest, but the last thing I want to see is more speed bumps or stoplights. I would agree with the no right turn on red in downtown where you can't always see around parked cars, but would not agree on an across the board law of no right on red.

Count me as one of the people who think you are old and cranky. How bout you try looking both ways before crossing the street. I've never seen anyone drive on the sidewalk - you should be safe there. If you think JC is bad, you must be terrified in Manhattan.

Interesting stuff. I can see why a lawmaker would be against a cap on tax increases. Hopefully they never need it and could even reduce taxes, but it's nice to have the flexibility in case something happens. I couldn't agree more about the issue with holding multiple offices. I know I couldn't do my current job to the best of my abilities and another similar job. How do these clowns get off claiming to do so?

I don't think most companies that provide cars would pay for a parking sticker - I know mine doesn't.

I would agree with you that non-residents should be charged a premium - the problem is that I am a resident and have been for several years. At the very least, they should make the permit equal to the registration charge.

Somebody needs to address the out of state tag issue and parking permits. I too have a company car, and they are even jersey plates, just not registered in JC. Anyways, even though I pay what seems like a gajillion dollars in property tax, I have to pay $300 a year for a "non-resident" parking permit, b/c my car is not registered in JC. That rule is such complete bullshite.
